 n) and conflict-resolution competencies are increasingly recognised as es
 sential requirements by organisations such the Solicitors Regulation Auth
 ority\, the General Medical Council\, the Engineering Council\, the Chart
 ered Institution of Building Services Engineers\, and the Chartered Manag
 ement Institute. The workshop is informed by the negotiation and professi
 onal communication&rsquo\;s standards of these organisations and by emplo
 yers&rsquo\; expectations.&nbsp\;</p>\n\n<p>What is it about?</p>\n\n<p>T
 he workshop will involve practical negotiation simulations and real-life 
 scenarios relating to business\, community and professional disputes. Stu
 dents will engage in negotiation\, reframing difficult conversations\, co
 nflict resolution\, active listening\, and collaborative problem-solving.
 </p>\n\n<p>Participants will receive:</p>\n\n<ul>\n	<li>lunch and refresh
 ments\; and</li>\n	<li>a Certificate of Attendance from the University of
