 unication) and conflict-resolution competencies are increasingly recognis
 ed as essential requirements by organisations such the Solicitors Regulat
 ion Authority\, the General Medical Council\, the Engineering Council\, t
 he Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers\, and the Charter
 ed Management Institute. The workshop is informed by the negotiation and 
 professional communication&rsquo\;s standards of these organisations and 
 by employers&rsquo\; expectations.</p>\n\n<p>What is it about?</p>\n\n<p>
 The workshop will involve practical negotiation simulations and real-life
  scenarios relating to business\, community and professional disputes. St
 udents will engage in negotiation\, reframing difficult conversations\, c
 onflict resolution\, active listening\, and collaborative problem-solving
 .</p>\n\n<p>Participants will receive:</p>\n\n<ul>\n	<li>lunch and refres
 hments\; and</li>\n	<li>a Certificate of Attendance from the University o
 f Birmingham Dubai</li>\n</ul>\n\n<p>Places are limited and will be alloc
