After a successful inaugural year, our Ten Talks programme returns in June 2025!
This prestigious event will feature ten thought-provoking presentations across five sessions from leading academics and public figures, each addressing a big question of local, national and global significance. This year, groups of students will also be presenting their responses to the big questions being poised by the ten presenters. Ten Talks is a fantastic opportunity to hear directly from those at the forefront of research and the cutting edge of their fields.
Session 5: Europe’s Future - navigating Trumpism, gender, and generational divides
Our chair, Professor Deborah Longworth (Pro Vice Chancellor Education), introduces:
- Can Europe survive in a Trumpian world? Professor Stefan Wolff, Professor of International Security (Department of Political Science and International Studies)
- Politics: divided by gender or generations? Professor Susanna Banducci, Professor of Political Science and 125th Anniversary Chair (Department of Political Science and International Studies)
